Raise Your Spirits is a 2003 album by Horrorpunk band The Rosedales. It has a really nice spooky,yet beautiful vibe, Its only a 30 minute listen :]
Blitzkid is a Horrorpunk band, with a similar vibe to The Misfits, and a wide discography with both original horror inspired lyrics, as well as songs inspired by popular films of the genre. One of my favorites is their song "Hellraiser" tbh i like the song more than i liked the film XD
Ok so i cannot in good faith advise you to watch all of these movies, they are not great. If anything all you need to watch to get the full experience is part 1 and 2. BUT if you love bad movies like i do,or have an intense passion for horror, watching past that point might be your thing. My personal favorite is Part 4 (The Final Chapter, my ass.) but thats purely based on camp and enjoyability, not any actual film critic standards.
If you havent seen this one yet, you should. It sounds silly but even if you have wathed it try watching it again, this time focusing on how the mask is used conceptually.
Popular choice, i know, but its not overhyped, it is so great on every level, and is essiential to the genre. Just watch it i promise its good.
If you like cozy games,but the current market isn't your style, you should try Dredge. It has a fun, and rewarding gameplay loop that feels fresh compared to the Stardew copycats, it has an intriguing story that keeps you wanting to know more, a stunning visual style, and a geniunley terrifying night segment. Its peak "Cozy Horror" (to me at least)
